Jay Chou speaks?

Have you watched the Green Hornet? I was amused when I first heard the name Green Hornet, it sounds stupid and ridiculous to me and I thought I would never wanna' watch it. But I thought I would give it a shot for Jay. However, I then realized there was this Green Hornet movie too in the 60's and Kato was portrayed by the martial art legend Bruce Lee.

So it got my attention and out of my expectation, it was something better than I thought. I haven't watched the entire movie so I won't know what it's gonna' be like but from the trailer, it was quite okay. What I like about this movie is that Jay Chou is in Hollywood, is it the first Taiwanese, and a music person to become a Hollywood star? That's kinda' cool isn't it.
I remember myself watching Jay Chou's mv since I was a kid, his songs are amazing especially for teenagers cause there's a lot of romance kind of songs in throughout all of his albums. To be honest, he's still my favourite Taiwanese singer after so many years. And to all Jay Chou haters out there, fuck you. he's really a nice and a talented guy. So why hate him?
I remember Jay Chou don't even speaks English, I remember he said that he's poor at speaking English in 最后的战役(behind the scene). But he's in Hollywood right now, the US doesn't listen to Mandarin so how is he gonna' communicate over there. I thought there will be a translator to translate for him and that will suck big time cause I know lip reading and that's gonna' annoy me throughout the whole movie.

However, he's speaking right now. Yes, English. And he's really brave to speak in front of the camera, in front of USA, in front of Taiwan, and pretty much the rest of the world.
Although he sounds a little like Peter Chao, but he's still cool.
University Life
You ever wonder if you gonna' have a university life in the future? It's hard to tell. During my days in high school, I always had been wondering if I ever get the chance to further my studies because I remember my dad keep telling me he didn't saved enough money for me to go college or university. Though I don't know if he's serious about that during the time or he was just frightening me.
So I finally ended up in an Institute or whatsoever it's called but better known as Limkokwing University. In KL (Cyberjaya), it's really some kick ass Univeristy though. But in Kuching (Borneo), it didn’t kick any asses here though. Some even rumoured it’s haunted. I'm not sure though, never seen one floating around the campus.

Malaysia isn't that bad if you've been to KL, there's a lot of thing happening in town, big cities, big names and everything there is bigger and longer taller compared to what we have in Kuching. The buildings I mean, not the other thing

I remember my time in KL during PLKN, where we hang out together bragging about our own hometown. We tell the locals over there how our shopping mall is like and they had a good laugh, of course. They really kind of have the feeling like we live on top of trees. Shared with them how's education over here, and we talked about Swinburne and they talked about Taylor's, Monash, Segi and Sunway.
We told them that we got Segi and Sunway over here too, but it's more like some tuition centre. No offence, but we were telling truth and they laughed for another round. That sucks, really. It makes Kuching people feel so shame of themselves, because of how the city is developing. By the end of the day, we can only brag about our Kolomee and Laksa.

In Limkokwing Borneo, it's better than what we call "some tuition centre style" but I haven't lived a universtiy life. Why?
In any decent University, you see thousands of living things walking around, hanging around in the campus. Fur caps on, listening to songs from fancy headset connected to some iPod device. Wearing the best attires you've ever seen. They wear Nike sneakers and perfumes. Carrying a backpack but holding a laptop on their arms. That's what you normally see in University for example.
However, in Limkokwing Borneo, most people wear slippers, some pyjamas-like t-shirt with a Pikachu face printed on it incorporate with a pair of jeans or some baggy-shorts. That's what you'll see, and that's what I usually wear except for the Pikachu t-shirt.

Normally, people hang out in the gym for basketball, badminton or a body workout before they leave campus for good. Some hit the school's cafe for lunch or a drink, or maybe the library for books or group study? Some people even just stand in the corner to check out for hot chicks.
But that has never happened in my campus, we attend classes, see the lecturers and tutors and we leave campus for good. There's nothing there for students to stay. Some hangout for a chat but most people just leave, or just stay in class. The best entertainment we used to have is a Ping-Pong table. We used to have a portable basketball rim for use to shoot or dunk but it's spoiled. However, we do have a basketball rim at the backyard with no shades. Everybody is afraid of the sunlight yea? We're not kids anymore.
Most people these days craved for some freakin’ cool university lifestyle because it’s a once in a lifetime thing. Try going back to study in any University when you’re 30, and you won’t feel the same.
Our campus doesn’t provide many activities throughout the year, there’s some but it might not interest most of us and that’s okay. Without all these activities, you get to focus more on your studies and more activities of your own. There’s still clubs such as Photography club, Singing club, Basketball club and more but there’s nothing much to do about it. The clubs aren’t emphasized in our school and students always neglect it and that’s bad. However, I really hope it improves.

I’m not sure about you people about how you feel about your school but I ain’t really happy about mine. Yes, it’s cheaper over here. Don’t get me wrong. I mean the fees, not trying to describe it. However, I never feel satisfied by the system of the campus. Just one problem actually, the lecturers – it’s not that they are not good actually, just that we are in lack of lecturers.
Last semester, our lecturer is sent from Cyberjaya to teach us for a few months, that’s not that good right? This semester, our lecturer resigned and we haven’t started class for that module. It’s been 2 weeks man! But they say there will be one next week, hopefully it’s true.
