Still pushing on the pulling door

那些年,我們一起追的女孩

Hey guys, have you guys watched this movie? I'm gonna' say it's one of the best movies I have ever watched in the cinema. It's the best Taiwan movie I have ever watched, I'll say it's even better than Jay's Secret and yeah, I'm a big fan of Jay.

It's hard to summarize the movie but this movie features some realistic love story that's happening around us. It's a story about a boy and a girl, how they actually fall into love, how they grow up and did they get together in the end? This love story is not only touching and all, it kinda' bring all of us into high school, I'm not gonna say I miss those moments back in those days. Seriously not. But it kinda' makes me miss those type of feelings to no one in particular, just those feelings. It's a once in a lifetime experience and you can't repeat those moments anymore. So yeah..

Back to the story, which is about a boy and girl loved each other but the boy did not confessed because he was too scared to be rejected where as the girl was waiting for him to confess and in the end, the girl marries somebody else. Yes, it's fucking sad. I actually kinda hate this kind of ending. The movie is filled with Taiwan's high school culture I believe, just like Jack Neo's film where you can watch Singapore's culture through the movie. It's like watching American Pie actually, without all those porno footage I'd say. Overall, it's really good, the film is really good. The actors are good, the movie is filled with a lot of ridiculous yet funny scenes, and the lead actress is really sweet and pretty. Hehee.. :)

After watching this movie, I realized there are a few message that the director actually wanted to  tell.

1. To whoever you really love. Please tell him/her before it's too late.

It's really sad if a potential couple couldn't get together because of something. I can imagine how sad it can be. It also tells people that maybe you can't be together with the person you really loved, eventually you'll find another "Mr/Miss Right" but whoever she is, the moment with that person is still memorable and maybe irreplaceable. I'm really grateful that I'm not in that situation. I mean if my girl happen to leave me someday, then she'll be that special person deep in my heart even though we can't be together. I am sure and I know that person won't be anyone else but her. Yeaa, she's that important to me. <3 But I know we're not gonna' let that happen right?

2. Try to work out the relationship even though it's falling apart?

There's this scene where the lead actor and actress actually got into a fight and that's the part where they got separated. It's actually a really really sad scene. Then in the end after the lead actress got married, there was this flashbacks where "if the boy actually go back to the girl and apologize, maybe they'll be together until the end." It gives me a feeling that it's saying "don't because of something small, and let it ruin your future and the chance to live with the person you love for the rest of your life."

It's a really good film that contains a lot of cuss but I'll say it's definitely worth a watch. But be prepared to get sad and please don' be too sad over it because it's just a film (an advice to myself). But thumbs up to the movie because it really made me feeeeel sooooo sad, as if I were the lead actor. Damnn.. Yeaaa, it's that good.

By the way, I think the groom in the end looks shitty and it's even sadder to see them get married. Am I too into the film? So what you think and feel about the movie? Tell me about it!

Anywhere M905

Lately, I haven't been blogging. I was busy with school, I am having my pre-holiday now. It's not holiday yet, still got some stuffs to be done. Was kinda' busy lately, I had to freeze my gym account for April as I needed to focus on my assignment.

There's quite some update happening around me but I didn't blog about it. Now that I finally get to breathe again, I'm dropping by.

I went back to the gym today and I felt really weak. I know that I sucked at my stamina and now I'm doing my best to make it better, every time I hit the gym now and then, I'm going for some cardios before my strength workout. I even feel that I wanna' let go out my strength workout and focus on my cardio first.

My girl even beat me on the treadmill, that's how lousy I got and I am so proud of her.

Back to the topic, my bro recently bought me a new mouse. This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. It's the Logitech Anywhere M905, the name says it all - the technology is so good that I can use the mouse even on a glass surface.

Inside the box

So in the box, there's the mouse, a pouch, a CD, a Logitech Nano receiver and a user guide for dummies. Also, it comes with a pair of DURACELL batteries. This mouse consists of 5 buttons. And the scroll wheel is really cool, there's 2 different kind of function for the wheel. One is with the friction that sounds every time you scroll, and by clicking at the wheel, it changes to a anti-friction scroll wheel which is so darn pretty cool. I can scroll the whole page with a spin and that's what I really want for a mouse.

Top view of the mouse

See the top view of the mouse? See how sexy it is?

The side view

There's two buttons over there for my thumb. They function as the "forward" and "back"  button. It's pretty convenience for me to browse through folders and webpage.

The bottom view (lid closed)

Now there's the bottom with the lid cover closed. There stated "Darkfield." What a name, sounds like some kind of term that would normally be used in Power Rangers or Kamen Rider.

Bottom view (lid opened)

This is how you turn on the mouse, in case you didn't know.

Inside the mouse

Under the cover, that's where the batteries and the Nano Receiver sit in when not in used.

Front view

The front view looks fantastically nice.

Inside the pouch

Here's a photo of the mouse inside the pouch. With this pouch, there's no need to worry about scratching your lovely mouse when it's kept in your laptop bag.

I find that it's really good to purchase a mouse from Logitech as if you are not into gaming. I find that when I mention about a mouse, people would recommend Razer, Steelseries and etc. I find that it's unnecessary for such kind of mouse especially when I'm not into gaming, I'm not sure about the precision of those mouse as I had never used them before. Those gaming mouse are more expensive than this. Although the difference of the price is not that huge, Logitech offers a 3-years warranty where as other brands offer 1 year.

Buying an expensive mouse doesn't make your computer flies. It's true but there's still difference when using a good mouse compared to a RM50 mouse. Some people say that, "a RM50 mouse and a RM200 mouse function as a mouse. So why pay more?" Seriously, I don't know either. Maybe it makes me feel stupid, and makes me feels syiok about it at the same time.

And maybe a reason for me to blog about it as well huh? By the way, I'm a fan of Logitech.

My New Headphone

It has been a rough week  and I'm all stressed up. I went to bed really early last night, but I was on my bed thinking about all sorts of thing. Mostly about my assignments, which is not really a bad thing. But I was supposed to be sleeping but it kept me awake. Wasn't feeling that good today either, feeling some soreness on my neck. It's so annoying actually.

In order to release some tension, I decided to go get myself a new headphone. I was waiting for this Pioneer HDJ-500 from a shop but they never called me so I gave up.

Pioneer HDJ-500 (click for more info)

So I went to ONEJAYA and there's this shop (S.L.C.G - located at ground floor) selling headphones and some computer accessories, mainly on headphones though. I went there and checked out some of the products, testing is available for this shop. Not all but there's some display, around 5 to 8 which is enough. He sells Denon, Audio-technica, Razer, Logitech, Pioneer, and Seinnheizer. These are actually the brands that I remember seeing in the shop.

In fact, I was interested in this model from Audio-Technica that I almost wanted to get it even though it was out of my budget.

ATH-ES55

This is seriously damn beautiful, elegant, classy and the sound quality itself is good as well. It costs RM455, it was still expensive even after some bargains and I was persuaded to buy this.

What's Denon? We only know Dettol and Danone.

Denon is a Japanese electronics company that was involved in the early stages of development of digital audio technology, while specializing in the manufacture of high-fidelity professional and consumer audio equipment. For many decades, Denon was a brand name of Nippon-Columbia, including the Nippon Columbia record label. In 2001 Denon was spun off as a separate company with 98% held by Ripplewood Holdings and 2% by Hitachi. In 2002 Denon merged with Marantz to form D&M Holdings. The Denon brand came from a merger of Denki Onkyo and others in 1939.

(Copied from wikipedia, I don't know much about the company either.) visit www.denon.com for more info laa.

This is the model that I bought, AH-D501. It's a bulky giant sitting on my head when I wear it, it's huge and it's big and I'll look like a sohai if I were to wear it while shopping in tHESpring. Seriously, I have no idea what's all these headphones about. If I look behind the box, I can't understand a single term except for the Made in China part.

Anyway, the package comes with the headphones itself with another Fii0 amplifier that costs around RM40 which is a pretty nice deal I think?

The headphone itself is RM240 after discount and a amplifier that costs RM40 is included which makes my headphone costs RM200. There's one extension cable in the box and another what-what-jack that comes together.

After Unboxing

Although I am clueless about audio but I still get the difference between the quality of this headphone and some RM50 headphones. The difference is of course significant. When you play the music loud, there's no cracking, tweeting, crunching, munching voice that can be heard and every detail of the music and voice can be heard. They say it "one cent money, one cent stock". So if you want better quality, pay more cents okay?

The earpad is huge and is able to completely cover up my ears and it's comfortable. It feels better when you touch it compared to Renoma's underwear, no kidding. But my ears feel warm when I wear it, but it's okay when I wear it in air-conditioned room.

Like every typical headphones in the market, the brand is on top of the headphones. Conclusion, I am pretty happy with my purchase and I haven't got any regrets. I think it's worth it if you enjoy listening to musics, and to listen to musics with this is a joy. :)
