An Aim
It was a hectic week, I'm not kidding and I'm not exaggerating.
I feel lost and lazy when I don't have an aim, it's like I wanna' sleep whole day, spending my time on the couch like a couch potato watching movies, listening to music. That's something I wanna' avoid because I'm tooo busy to be lazy.
Few nights back, I wasn't able to sleep well so I was on my bed thinking about something to accomplished, something not that hard, something useful to myself, something comfortable, something cool. And there's this thought of cleaning an isolated room, a room filled with trash, filled with books, filled with dust, and old furnitures. I wanna' clean it, decorate it, rearrange it into a bedroom and a working room.
Yes, I need a working room and a bedroom. I'm now doing my work in my living room which is not a good thing because it can't get too messy and there's no personal space.
Now thinking is the first step and there comes the money, where can I get that amount of money to start working. I needa' install an aircond in that room, needa' improve the lightings, wanna' repaint if possible. Thinking about it, it gets me goes excited.
I will be having a 4 months holiday from May, I always wanted to work part time for some savings but I will have sacrifice going to gym. So right now, I needa' replan. If I can get a job, without compromising my gym routine that would be better. If not, I'll just probably stick back with hitting the gym or something.
Tell me, am I dreaming too much or what?
A Day Made of Glass
My New Headphone
It has been a rough week and I'm all stressed up. I went to bed really early last night, but I was on my bed thinking about all sorts of thing. Mostly about my assignments, which is not really a bad thing. But I was supposed to be sleeping but it kept me awake. Wasn't feeling that good today either, feeling some soreness on my neck. It's so annoying actually.
In order to release some tension, I decided to go get myself a new headphone. I was waiting for this Pioneer HDJ-500 from a shop but they never called me so I gave up.

So I went to ONEJAYA and there's this shop (S.L.C.G - located at ground floor) selling headphones and some computer accessories, mainly on headphones though. I went there and checked out some of the products, testing is available for this shop. Not all but there's some display, around 5 to 8 which is enough. He sells Denon, Audio-technica, Razer, Logitech, Pioneer, and Seinnheizer. These are actually the brands that I remember seeing in the shop.
In fact, I was interested in this model from Audio-Technica that I almost wanted to get it even though it was out of my budget.

This is seriously damn beautiful, elegant, classy and the sound quality itself is good as well. It costs RM455, it was still expensive even after some bargains and I was persuaded to buy this.
What's Denon? We only know Dettol and Danone.
Denon is a Japanese electronics company that was involved in the early stages of development of digital audio technology, while specializing in the manufacture of high-fidelity professional and consumer audio equipment. For many decades, Denon was a brand name of Nippon-Columbia, including the Nippon Columbia record label. In 2001 Denon was spun off as a separate company with 98% held by Ripplewood Holdings and 2% by Hitachi. In 2002 Denon merged with Marantz to form D&M Holdings. The Denon brand came from a merger of Denki Onkyo and others in 1939.
(Copied from wikipedia, I don't know much about the company either.) visit www.denon.com for more info laa.

This is the model that I bought, AH-D501. It's a bulky giant sitting on my head when I wear it, it's huge and it's big and I'll look like a sohai if I were to wear it while shopping in tHESpring. Seriously, I have no idea what's all these headphones about. If I look behind the box, I can't understand a single term except for the Made in China part.
Anyway, the package comes with the headphones itself with another Fii0 amplifier that costs around RM40 which is a pretty nice deal I think?

The headphone itself is RM240 after discount and a amplifier that costs RM40 is included which makes my headphone costs RM200. There's one extension cable in the box and another what-what-jack that comes together.

After Unboxing
Although I am clueless about audio but I still get the difference between the quality of this headphone and some RM50 headphones. The difference is of course significant. When you play the music loud, there's no cracking, tweeting, crunching, munching voice that can be heard and every detail of the music and voice can be heard. They say it "one cent money, one cent stock". So if you want better quality, pay more cents okay?

The earpad is huge and is able to completely cover up my ears and it's comfortable. It feels better when you touch it compared to Renoma's underwear, no kidding. But my ears feel warm when I wear it, but it's okay when I wear it in air-conditioned room.

Like every typical headphones in the market, the brand is on top of the headphones. Conclusion, I am pretty happy with my purchase and I haven't got any regrets. I think it's worth it if you enjoy listening to musics, and to listen to musics with this is a joy.
