What’s your plan for valentine’s day?

Has it ever happen that you got no plans for the coming event and it somehow bothered you? It's Valentine's day and I haven't got any plans, I'm sure she'll be disappointed but I'm sure we'll figure something out. Maybe I'll share what's gonna' happen for the next 24 hour. Happy Valentines Day everyone.
University Life
You ever wonder if you gonna' have a university life in the future? It's hard to tell. During my days in high school, I always had been wondering if I ever get the chance to further my studies because I remember my dad keep telling me he didn't saved enough money for me to go college or university. Though I don't know if he's serious about that during the time or he was just frightening me.
So I finally ended up in an Institute or whatsoever it's called but better known as Limkokwing University. In KL (Cyberjaya), it's really some kick ass Univeristy though. But in Kuching (Borneo), it didn’t kick any asses here though. Some even rumoured it’s haunted. I'm not sure though, never seen one floating around the campus.

Malaysia isn't that bad if you've been to KL, there's a lot of thing happening in town, big cities, big names and everything there is bigger and longer taller compared to what we have in Kuching. The buildings I mean, not the other thing

I remember my time in KL during PLKN, where we hang out together bragging about our own hometown. We tell the locals over there how our shopping mall is like and they had a good laugh, of course. They really kind of have the feeling like we live on top of trees. Shared with them how's education over here, and we talked about Swinburne and they talked about Taylor's, Monash, Segi and Sunway.
We told them that we got Segi and Sunway over here too, but it's more like some tuition centre. No offence, but we were telling truth and they laughed for another round. That sucks, really. It makes Kuching people feel so shame of themselves, because of how the city is developing. By the end of the day, we can only brag about our Kolomee and Laksa.

In Limkokwing Borneo, it's better than what we call "some tuition centre style" but I haven't lived a universtiy life. Why?
In any decent University, you see thousands of living things walking around, hanging around in the campus. Fur caps on, listening to songs from fancy headset connected to some iPod device. Wearing the best attires you've ever seen. They wear Nike sneakers and perfumes. Carrying a backpack but holding a laptop on their arms. That's what you normally see in University for example.
However, in Limkokwing Borneo, most people wear slippers, some pyjamas-like t-shirt with a Pikachu face printed on it incorporate with a pair of jeans or some baggy-shorts. That's what you'll see, and that's what I usually wear except for the Pikachu t-shirt.

Normally, people hang out in the gym for basketball, badminton or a body workout before they leave campus for good. Some hit the school's cafe for lunch or a drink, or maybe the library for books or group study? Some people even just stand in the corner to check out for hot chicks.
But that has never happened in my campus, we attend classes, see the lecturers and tutors and we leave campus for good. There's nothing there for students to stay. Some hangout for a chat but most people just leave, or just stay in class. The best entertainment we used to have is a Ping-Pong table. We used to have a portable basketball rim for use to shoot or dunk but it's spoiled. However, we do have a basketball rim at the backyard with no shades. Everybody is afraid of the sunlight yea? We're not kids anymore.
Most people these days craved for some freakin’ cool university lifestyle because it’s a once in a lifetime thing. Try going back to study in any University when you’re 30, and you won’t feel the same.
Our campus doesn’t provide many activities throughout the year, there’s some but it might not interest most of us and that’s okay. Without all these activities, you get to focus more on your studies and more activities of your own. There’s still clubs such as Photography club, Singing club, Basketball club and more but there’s nothing much to do about it. The clubs aren’t emphasized in our school and students always neglect it and that’s bad. However, I really hope it improves.

I’m not sure about you people about how you feel about your school but I ain’t really happy about mine. Yes, it’s cheaper over here. Don’t get me wrong. I mean the fees, not trying to describe it. However, I never feel satisfied by the system of the campus. Just one problem actually, the lecturers – it’s not that they are not good actually, just that we are in lack of lecturers.
Last semester, our lecturer is sent from Cyberjaya to teach us for a few months, that’s not that good right? This semester, our lecturer resigned and we haven’t started class for that module. It’s been 2 weeks man! But they say there will be one next week, hopefully it’s true.
10 Aspirations for 2011
It's a year before the end of the world (2012) so I think it's better to sets some goals and target for myself. Let's start off with some aspirations for the year two thousand and eleven, the rabbit year. In order to not live my life without an order, I had to do so or I'll be more or less wasting my time.
10. Photography
My dad bought me a DSLR since 2009 and I am quite sure I haven't fully utilized it. When I just got it, I am so excited that I brought it along with me every time I go out. Soon, I got lazy and scared to bring it out because a lot of attention is needed when bringing this bulky thing out. However whenever I get a new gadget, I got excited again but then I neglect it very soon. I think that I really need to put more time snapping photos though.
9. Gain Weight, Gain Muscle
Being skinny is not a crime, but I am not a fan of being skinny. It not only doesn't look good but it makes me looks weak. People feels like punching me in the face when they see a skinny weakling and I do not want that to happen. So by gaining weights and muscles, I am gonna' punch them right back in the face in order to defend myself.
Naahhh, just kidding...
8. No more last minute work
At the very end of every semester, you'll see me busy, moody, trying to complete all of my assignments. This is all because of last minute work and I do not want that to happen anymore because it's really a hectic process. If I can manage my time properly, then I won't get into that kind of a trouble.
7. Get a part time job
I heard that I'm going to have 4 months holiday break after this semester and 4 months is a long period of time, so what am I suppose to do during that period of time? I have a plan, a plan to work for money by getting a part time job. Everyone needs money and I'm craving for it because I need money so badly, so the least I could do is to earn myself some pocket money. Hopes I get hired.
6. Sleep earlier
Why? Sleeping early encourages growth. Though I know it's too late for my to get any taller, at least I can gain some weights by doing this. Also, I'll be waking up earlier by sleeping earlier. This is one way of a healthier lifestyle than what I am having these days.
5. Touch the basketball rim
I've been talking about this issue since form 3 and I never succeeded. I have poor vertical leaps and I'm gonna' improve that. It's a tough challenge cause I don't think it's gonna' be easy at all. I never had good stamina and determination to train my leaps. But that's all gonna' change.
4. Get at least 5 meals a day
I heard that I need around 2000 plus calories per day in order to gain weight. People always say that how much they eat but never gain weight, there are always reason for it and it is not 100% that you can't gain any weights. By taking more amount of calories, sleeping earlier and workout daily can help you gain weight, not fat. If you eat and sleep, that's fat. 5 meals a day might solve my problems, doing workouts is not a problem for me.
3. Blog
Here I am, making my first step to continue this blog. I'm gonna' write write write write write write write write write and ain't gonna' stop stop stop stop stop.
2. Love Relationship
I love my darling and she loves me, I know that and I am gonna' live with it for the rest of my life.
1. Stay healthy
Nobody wants to get sick, enough said.
I'm still crawling my way back into blogging, so it gets shorter and shorter after every paragraphs. Lastly, I wish everyone a Happy New Year.
I won't be celebrating Chinese New Year for 2011 though
